Download for free and without limits from the BitTorrent network to your Android
With uTorrent Pro for Android, you can download free music, movies, games, documents and other files to your smartphone or tablet using the BitTorrent network. This paid version is ad-free and offers a dedicated support service.
Search, download, and manage torrents
The main screen of uTorrent Pro shows three tabs: one showing a list of torrents, a second with those that are already downloaded and a third with the current file being downloaded. Upon completion of each, you receive a notice on the notification bar.
To find new torrent files to download, the app gives you two options:
1) Click on the icon that looks like a magnifying glass. Enter a keyword and start the search. This opens a browser window containing Google results. Find a file that interests you, select it and it will be added to the download queue.
2) If you already know the link of the torrent you want to download, tap on the “+” and type/paste the URL of the torrent to start downloading.
In addition to what we’ve already seen, uTorrent Pro allows you to add, check and manage your favorite RSS feeds. You can also set bandwidth limits for downloads and uploads, and set the app to automatically start when you turn your phone/tablet on.
Simple and intuitive interface
uTorrent for Android is an application that’s all about simplicity. The design is minimal and all major commands are on tap and accessible from the home screen.
For those who love downloading on the move
uTorrent Pro is one of the best P2P clients for downloading from your smartphone or tablet. It’s easy to use and provides you with everything you need to download on the go. The search functions, however, could be improved upon, as they appear to be a little too simple.
This paid release of uTorrent, compared to the free version, doesn’t include ads and allows you make use of the personalized support team service at uTorrent. But in terms of the interface and features, the two applications are completely identical.
Finally, you should remember to use uTorrent Pro over a wi-fi connection to avoid reaching your 3G data connection limit too early
