WebP Converter For Media Pluigin- How To Use It Wisely for better WordPress WPO
A WebP plugin is made by Mateusz Gbiorczyk, a developer from polish. The plugin works by converting current images to the web format, which can be used on the server side to serve WebP images to the client side of your site. Currently there are around 50+ developers that have made so many plugins available to help with speed up your website by serving WebP images. However I have not tested all of them myself, so you might want to take a look at the ones that are recommended.
The WebP plugin is a small script that is added to your website either as a standalone page or when you open up a new page, that converts your images to the format used by the browser, so that they will load faster. In order to use this plugin, you will need to install it either through your WordPress plugin directory or from the read me section of your Dashboard. Once the plugin is installed and activated on your site you will see an icon on the right side of your screen called Js-p-converter. This will turn the plugin on and start converting your images as well as cookies and javascripts to the format used on the server side, which should increase your page speed. The more images you convert the faster the page will load.
There are a few different ways to utilize the web plugin; you can either keep all your images in their original format, or convert them to the web format. The results will be that your images load faster and your pages will load more smoothly, but the real winner here is that you will see an increase in your page score. Each individual image will get a score that ranges from twenty to seventy, depending on the quality of the image and the number of pixels that the image has. This means that if you have fifty images with a resolution of sixteen by ten pixels, the images will each get a score of eighty. This can make a huge difference when you are uploading large pictures or videos to your website.
