WBFS is a free-to-use utility for Mac devices. This content management app lets you store, create backups, and manage all your games for the Nintendo Wii platform. Aside from its specialized application, this also lets you perform the usual functions of a file management platform such as adding, transferring, extracting, and deleting files from external storage devices apart from the popular game console.

Backup your Wii games
The main feature of WBFS is in backing up and archiving WBFS files. Short for Wii Backup File System, it corresponds to disk images or virtual copies of a game cartridge for the already-discontinued gaming console. The file type is often converted from ISO files of the original game cartridges and can be used to create files that are playable with the original console or any of its supported emulators.
As a file management platform, you can conveniently convert ISO to WBFS files. Its simple home screen interface already presents all important functions, in clearly visible and easily distinguishable buttons. Also, as mentioned, the app also works for other storage devices. This lets you move and modify files from external storage drives on your device, even without activities relating to the use of WBFS files.
However, it’s important to note that it doesn’t support all versions of Mac OS. You’ll need at least Mac OS X 10.5 or newer to use this tool. However, the support for this tool is no longer available, causing it to crash or not load properly when running with the OS X Catalina. Additionally, the app also doesn’t support other file systems other than the standard FAT32.
