Podcasting made easy
What better way to combine blogging and radio than by podcasting? Although it might seem a little difficult, podcasting doesn’t take much if you have the right tools with you.
Ubercaster aims to make podcasting easy and accessible to anybody. Fitted with a colorful and round interface it lets you control the whole podcasting process, from recording to editing, managing and storing your tracks, encoding and publishing on the web.
Those of you not used to editing programs might feel a little lost at first startup, but a quick look at the tutorial videos on the developer website should help you out.
In your workspace start out by creating layers for the different audio files you’ll need, like your live voice, background music and sound effects.
The ones you already have you can drag and drop, the others you’ll need to record with a microphone, then edit them in Ubercaster and finally export them in the best suited format.
The real drawback to Ubercaster is its price. $80 seems way too much to ask simply for a podcasting tool.
Ubercaster is a very intuitive program to create and export podcasts.
