Tablet drawing application for professional artists
The paintbrush and canvas may not be dead but it has a lot of competition nowadays. TabletDraw is all about allowing professional artists to use a tablet to produce professional results.
Since most drawing programs are designed to be used with a mouse, TabletDraw will be welcomed by professional artists who want an authentic drawing experience. TabletDraw is designed from the ground up, and instead of setting brush thickness based solely on pen pressure, TabletDraw uses a combination of factors including speed and pen pressure to create a realistic pen-and-paper feel.
Most notably, drawing curves is much easier with a tablet and pen and TabletDraw uses something called SwiftCurve technology to accurately depict curves. The result is a more realistic drawing experience that mimics your had movements exactly as they are. Some programs only let you rotate your drawing by 90 degrees, but this still forces you to put your hand in unnatural positions for some strokes.
Coloring is also more advanced using TabletDraw. TabletDraw uses an Ink mode (toggled with the “I” key), rather than a paint bucket so that colors are blended much as they are with markers. However, professionals will miss the opportunity to add layers or transparency to their drawings.
Overall however, TabletDraw is a very powerful application which gives a more realistic artistic experience.
