A WordPress plugin for creating viral quizzes, polls, and lists
Snax is a premium plugin for the popular WordPress open-source blogging platform. The plugin allows users to create front and backend quizzes, polls, lists, and other viral content. It also allows web visitors, page editors, and other WP admins to create quizzes and polls, as long as they have proper permissions.
Snax makes creating content and uploading files easy and allows users to log in using their social network accounts. The mod is not free, but the developers also include their premium Bimber theme as part of the complete Snax WP package.
Backend interface
Users with the appropriate role privileges can log in to the site and create posts from the WordPress admin dash, just like other regular posts. Admins and editors can create polls, quizzes, and lists by default, but other user roles can also be granted permissions.
Frontend interface
Snax allows a site admin to accept user-generated content with a frontend content creation system. It allows site visitors to create posts by themselves without logging into the WordPress admin area. It also allows for other users to upvote or downvote user-submitted posts.
A wide range of post types
Snax supports a wide range of post types for both front- and backend submission. These include quizzes, polls, images, videos, “hot or not” memes, stories, open or ranked lists, and more.
Ideal for user-generated website content
Though the various content types supported by Snax are mostly things that WordPress supports natively, the additional social media elements built into the plugin make it quite an effective tool. For users looking to create a site that accepts user-generated frontend content, Snax is a good choice. However, it may not be ideal for someone who only wants to create and post content via the backend dash.
