Scrobble your music on your iPod
I’ve personally been addicted to last. fm since it was launched on the net and like how easy it is to discover new music and similar artists. Usually I let last.
fm scrobble my iTunes to let other users know what I’m listening. The scrobble feature in last. fm is pretty straightforward but somewhat limited.
ScrobblePod lets you scrobble your iPod listening.
ScrobblePod is the first application I’ve come across that offers extensive scrobbling features.
It scrobbles your iTunes library, last. fm and your iPod if you connect it to your Mac. I like how it’s easily accesible from the menu bar. It can automatically disable scrobbling of iTunes if you’ve been inactive for a few minutes.
ScrobblePod also lets you connect to last. fm by entering your username and password. This feature did not work correctly when we tested it and we could not connect.
Let’s hope that once Scrobblepod is out of beta this will be fixed.
Overall, ScrobblePod is a complete application for any scrobbling last.

ScrobblePod is a Last. fm music scrobbler for Mac OS X which handles songs played both in iTunes and on your iPod. It is designed as a replacement for existing scrobblers, which are either too complicated or don’t support iPod track scrobbling.
