Help Momo the squirrel find his owner
RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest is a game with a sickeningly soppy premise – that of helping a squirrel find it’s owner – but at least it delivers some excellent graphics and decent gameplay.
Momo the squirrel has to choose between the darkside and the lightside as he faces moral challenge after moral challenge in the quest to find his owner again. Momo has to battle his way through a range of beautifully designed and illustrated scenarios from an enchanted forest to cybernetic mines and from school to a cursed castle.
RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest plays as a platform style game. As you move along the levels, you’re confronted by other characters that either advise you or threaten you on your quest in speech bubbles. These usually involve tips on setting you challenges in order to progress. The soundtrack is a weird electro-synth affair that quickly becomes annoying and the sound effects are also quite limited.
RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest is definitely a more unusual platform game although it’s more aimed at kids than adults.
