Game engine for games like Myst

Pipmak can now play sounds! Although only a single file format, Ogg Vorbis, is supported at this time, a solid foundation of functionality is provided that hopefully covers the needs of most projects concerning sound effects and background sound. Other new features include transition effects at arbitrary times (not just for node transitions), disabling controls, and more. In addition, the reference documentation is now nearly complete, with no more function descriptions missing.

The Pipmak Game Engine allows you to make panoramic adventure games, in a style similar to that of the Myst game series. You can use static images or 360° panoramic views, allowing you to make game like any of the Myst series. It uses Lua for scripting, meaning you can make games using a powerful yet easy to learn language. Pipmak is available under the GPL licence. It is currently in a very early stage of development.
