Paint And Draw Easily With Intuition And Feeling.
Paint X is a classic-style painting program based on Corel’s earlier offerings as well as other programs with similar names. It sets itself apart with ease of use.
Paint and no more
Paint X is easy to use from the moment you open it, with a smooth-looking default brush and a drag-and-drop interface with a tool pane that you can expand or collapse easily. Despite this, learning to do things like blend brushes without losing texture can be difficult (or impossible depending on the brush you’re trying to make), and although the app comes with custom brushes, making your own can run into the same uses. It’s also not friendly to fonts outside of Mac OS X’s native offerings.
Paint a pretty little picture
Overall, if Paint X’s flaws are not deal-breakers to you, then it’s an excellent painting program that an artist could use for all sorts of purposes, from drawing and painting to graphic design. Working around its unique quirks is difficult at first, but a determined artist will benefit from doing so with a breezy, intuitive interface and smooth drawing.
