What Does Page Builder Framework for WordPress Looks Like?
A new lightweight and highly customizable page builder for WordPress called Page Builder Framework has been released recently. Page Builder Framework is created by David Vongries, a freelance writer and web developer from San Francisco, CA. Originally developed for Dreamweaver, he has released this lightweight WordPress theme to the public under the GNU FDL license. David has spent a considerable amount of time and money working on this framework to create what he calls the best WordPress theme engine available.
Based on what many users see, they’ve coded the theme so as not to be annoying to page builders, so there’s less chance for conflict in terms of layout or code. In fact, it has been designed so as to be super fast and super simple to use – it will even pre-generate the sitemap for you, saving you considerable time in designing your own sitemap. You only need to install the page builder framework once, and it will then automatically generate your theme based on the information you provide. This means that this is arguably the fastest themes available for WordPress.
As this is a lightweight theme based on WordPress, most people who are already familiar with WordPress will find it fairly easy to use and configure. Most advanced users can also simply add the single file necessary to convert the files and use the built-in WordPress Themeisle plugins and settings. David does not provide premium email support for this theme, however, as it is still in development. As with all WordPress themes, there are occasional crashes and slow start times – especially if you are switching from either v5 or v4. But overall, Page Builder Framework is very easy to work with and provides a great starting point for WordPress site creation.
