A Note-Taking Tool With Organization As Its Marquee Feature
OneNote is a note-taking app from Microsoft that lets you document your thoughts, ideas, discoveries, and makes it much easier to remember things and execute plans based on them. The digital notebook is handy at all times – whether you are at home, office, or on the move.
Multi-Device Synchronization
OneNote is available for all major mobile and desktop operating systems, syncing notes to the web and all your devices. The app is full-blown and lets you make both complex and simple notes right from scratch. You can organize your notes into browsable, searchable notebooks and sync them across platforms such as Macs, Windows PCs, iPhones, iPads, Android devices, Windows Phones and the web.The tool also lets you draw, record video and audio, scan images, embed spreadsheets, and review edits of other people’s work. These functionalities would, however, vary with the platform you’re on and the device you’re using.
Organization is its Forte
OneNote’s basic structure is quite organized. You can make individual notebooks. In every notebook, you could make section groups containing multiple sections. Every section has its own pages, with a separate note on each page. For instance, if you are using the app to track notes relating to your sales employees, you can maintain a ‘sales employees’ notebook. And then have individual section groups for every salesperson. And in each of these groups, you may have sections for each salesperson’s customers. And those buyer sections may have individual pages that comprise notes highlighting the salesperson-customer relationship, along with sales figures links.
