Free, Stripped-Back Version of Nova Golf
Nova Golf Lite is a free-to-play version of Nova Golf, a golf simulator developed by Nuclear Nova Software. The game is the follow-up to the developer’s previous golf game, GL Golf, and features similar simplistic 3D graphics, along with a realistic physics engine.
Golf for the Casual Gamer
Despite the developer having previous experience within the golf genre, Nova Golf Lite has been designed from the ground up, with a focus on casual, easy-to-pick-up gameplay. Players are presented with a variety of different game modes, ranging from a career mode, where players can work their way from amateur to professional status, to a multi-player mode, where players can challenge their friends. The player character is customizable, and the game offers golf courses in a variety of locations, including Scotland, Pennsylvania and Arizona.
A Taste of the Full Game
The free-to-play version is stripped-back, with a limited number of holes, a lack of a tournament mode and a reduced number of balls and golf clubs. Nevertheless, it provides players with a taste of what the full game has to offer, both in terms of presentation and gameplay, and offers plenty of features for casual players.
