Turn-Based Strategy Game Set in the Medieval Period

Medieval II: Total War Collection is a turn-based strategy game, which focuses on the medieval period. It is the sequel to Medieval: Total War, incorporates ideas from Rome: Total War and comes complete with the Medieval II: Total War expansion pack, entitled Kingdoms. The player takes control of a faction, builds a civilization and expands by gaining control of other settlements. While core campaign mode gameplay is turn-based, the battles are instead handled through an award-winning real-time 3D system. A separate Battle Mode is also included, allowing players to focus entirely on battles and re-create historic real-world conflicts.
