With cameras proliferating in our cities these days, it was only a matter of time until you could view them on your own computer. Manhattan Live!
is a webcam widget that shows 24/7 images of Greenwich Village.
The widget automatically alternates between different cameras in different streets and areas of Greenwich Village.
Make sure that you have a good connection to have good streaming images from the webcam. Even so, the widget does take time to load up and we found the image too lag way to frequently.
We don’t recommend keeping this widget on your Dashboard all the time, except if your Mac is packed with memory and you have a good connection, as it will eat up your RAM.
However if you’re curious as to what’s going on in NYC, it’s nice to have around.
