A free adventure and building game set in medieval times
Kingdom Chronicles has all the typical medieval cliche elements such as magic, melee weapons, artifacts, and fantasy races. It is a building game at heart, but it is story driven.
Battle your way through different episodes
Kingdom Chronicles has you make your way through its story while building, trading, researching and battling. There are 40 episodes, but you have to pay to unlock them after you get past the tutorial/learning stages. Like games such as Fallout Shelter, this game doesn’t punish people who play in short episodes. You can play for five minutes at a time, or spend an hour before you run out of things to do. There are seven unlockable pieces of DLC that give you additional levels/episodes.
The grinding is addictive
Kingdom Chronicles is marketed unfairly because once you have downloaded the game, and once you have paid your money to unlock the levels, you then have to share the game’s marketing message on your Facebook account in order to progress through the levels you bought. The grinding and the waiting is additive, but you can only play for so long before you have to stop and wait for things to recharge.
