Professional iDVD style burning software

If you’ve ever used iDVD to create DVDs then you’ll feel very at home with iSkysoft DVD Creator for Mac.

iSkysoft DVD Creator for Mac is a professional video to DVD burning software that enables you to convert popular video formats including AVI, MOV, 3GP, WMV, MP4, TS, TP, TRP, M2TS, FLV, F4V, ASF, MOD, M4V (without DRM protection) etc. to DVD on Mac. The interface is uncannily like iDVD – in fact I’m surprised Apple haven’t taken note of this – but if you’re going to imitate an interface, iDVD is not a bad one to choose.

iSkysoft DVD Creator for Mac simply requires you to drag and drop files into the main window in order to get started. Alternatively, you can open a project that you’ve already created earlier in much the same way as opening projects in iDVD. It doesn’t matter which side of the Atlantic you’re on as it supports both NTSC and PAL and change the ratio to 4:3, 16:9 or full screen display size.

Of course, you can edit video files by trimming, cropping and adjusting effects; and create customized DVD menus with built-in Dynamic and Static templates resources. This part of the program isn’t quite as intuitive as iDVD and was a bit of a let down as the former can be very confusing in this department sometimes and a program that could have improved on it would have been much welcomed.
