Recover and copy songs simply from your iPod and iPhone
Copying songs to and from an iPod should be much freer as far as I’m concerned by Apple have done their best to put as many restrictions as possible on what you can and can’t do.
That’s why I’d recommend iRepo X for anyone who wants to copy songs from their iPod to another computer or simply recover songs from an iPod. Simply connect your iPod and iRepo X will show you all the songs on your iPod that can be copied or recovered.
iRepo X could be useful if you’ve experienced a computer crash and need to replace your music collection from your iPod which is impossible using iTunes alone. Alternatively, it can be useful for anyone that wants to take a few songs from a friends iPod without being blocked by iTunes restrictions.
If your friend has songs you would like, you can connect their iPod to your computer and transfer over all the songs you don’t have. After connecting your iPod, iRepo X displays a listing of all the songs on the iPod in an interface that’s not unlike iTunes. From there, you can simply select which songs you want to save and copy and click a button to start the transfer process.
With iPod touch and iPhones now added to the list of products iRepo X works with, it’s a fantastic tool for all things Apple without dealing with annoying DRM restrictions.
Fixed bug which caused iRepo X to not detect devices when it was running in trial mode (without a license key entered).
