Minimize and reveal app windows in one click
There is nothing more time consuming that having to minimize several windows so that you can get to your desktop.
Of course, Expose goes a long way to solving this problem but it would be useful if you could just click a button and hide or reveal everything at the same time. That’s exactly what FlyingWindows does and the name is derived from the fact that it looks like Windows are literally flying across your screen. If you want to show off, you can even minimize and unminimize windows in slow motion although why you would want or need this I have no idea.
Annoyingly however, as soon as you install it it sends all of your Windows flying into the Dock without prompting. However, you can easily restore them in a snap by clicking the red balloon in your Menu Bar. I did notice my system lock up momentarily as the windows restored (which they do extremely quickly) which is a bit worrying although in general FlyingWindows seems to be very stable. Most importantly, you can define which apps you want it to minimize and reveal by adding and subtracting them from the Exclusion List.
If you prefer minimizing windows as oppose to using Exposé, then FlyingWindows will definitely be useful to you
