Time trial racing game with eggs
Eggcelerate! is a premium racing game that was made by developer Tyre Bytes LLC. In this charming and funny racer, players will be taking various time trial challenges on various tracks. The catch is that they have to carry an egg with them and ensure its safety throughout.
Similar in concept to games like Stumble Guys or Fall Guys: Ultimate Edition, Eggcelerate! will have players take on what are essentially obstacle courses, with the goal of reaching the finish line as fast as possible in mind. Introducing eggs to the equation is just a whimsical and funny twist to it all.
Race with eggcitement
When it comes to racing games, it’s all about the speed and rush of excitement as you reach top speed or land the perfect corner as you pass fellow racers by. Then, there are time trials races that challenge your skill and control as you aim for the shortest times possible. Eggcelerate! is a release that falls under the latter, but it introduces some eggciting twists to the formula.
The overall art and presentation of this game are more casual and playful in design. Choose from a range of cute vehicles, from your typical city car to a minivan, or a farm truck. As of this writing, there are 30 tracks each with traps and obstacles to take on, such as spring-powered punching gloves, saws, windmills, and many others that will attempt to knock off your egg cargo.
In addition, you can customize and combine different appearances for your vehicle, egg, and egg baskets, so you can at least stumble and struggle in style and look distinct while doing it. Outside of this, though, there isn’t much else on offer here. It could use more game modes and tracks in future updates. Nevertheless, it’s still a great option for quick and casual game sessions.
Fun and eggtastic time
Overall, if you’re looking for a simple and casual game that you can play for short bursts to help pass the time or to enjoy with friends and family, Eggcelerate! is worth your consideration. Its graphics are cute, the gameplay is easy to learn, and there’s a decent amount of customization options available. It has the potential to be a lot more fun with future content updates.
