Recover files from your iPod/iPhone

Copying songs or videos from Mac to iPhone or iPod with the iTunes app is very easy, but the inverse process is impossible. Luckily for you, you have DeTune.

DeTune does the opposite from iTunes. That is, it lets you copy files from your portable device to your Mac’s hard disk. You can copy songs, videos, electronic books or podcasts.

With the other files there is no problem either, since DeTune shows the content of the iPhone/iPod, including system files and folders. That way, you will be able to search for photographs and other important files.
