Ruhul Amin created Date Time Picker for Contact Form 7, which is compatible with WordPress 4.0 or higher and tested up to version 5.8. You can use the plugin to change a text field in Contact Form 7 to a date, time, or date and time picker. It integrates with PHOP version 5.8 and higher and is free to download.
After installation, you’ll need to add the CSS classes to the CSS class editor in the text field. Additionally, you can try the similar Contact Form 7 DatePicker.
Plugin features
The plugin allows for unlimited website usage and is compatible with WordPress Multilanguage (WPML). You can view it with a light or dark theme depending on your preference. Since it loads scripts only on the selected page, it won’t slow down your website.
You can use this plugin to disable past date selection (Pro only), today, and specific day selection. Make sure to specify or disable weekends and holidays as required. Set a minimum and maximum allowed period, and change time steps of interval. Decide to use 24 hours or 12-hour format and choose to show AM and PM.
The date will display as a dropdown block where visitors can scroll left and right to a different month and select a specific date. The time shows as a dropdown block, where visitors can scroll and choose a suitable time.
How to use
You choose if the Field Type should be a required field in the form tag generator. Select from the dropdown if you want the date picker, time picker, or date and time picker in the Name field. Specify a Default Value and choose if you want to ‘Use this text as a placeholder of the field’ and ‘This field requires author’s name’ with Askimet spam protection. Add the ‘ID Attribute’ and enter the specific ‘Class Attribute’.
