Never allow a cup of tea to go cold again

If there’s one thing I love as I’m working – especially as the winter draws in – it’s a cup of tea by the side of my keyboard.

I’ve lost count however of the number of times I’ve allowed a good cuppa to go cold while I’m absorbed or distracted by matters relating to work. Cuppa is designed to ensure that the same doesn’t happen to you by timing how long it takes your cup of tea to go cold and reminding you to drink it before it’s too late.

You can add the exact name of the brew you’ve made (such as ‘Earl Grey’), although I don’t really see the point of this as surely every cup of tea goes cold at the same rate. You can then configure a time for each cup of tea to go bad. Cuppa sits in your Dock and can be accessed simply by CMD-clicking on it. You can configure various alert methods including a simple pop-up warning window or Growl alert.

Cuppa is not exactly the most essential application in the world but if you’re a frequent tea drinker, you might be surprised at how many brews it could save you.
