A free coffee shop simulator puzzle game

An average day at the cat cafe is a coffee shop simulation game existing in a colorful and mostly warm environment, though it does get a little creepier at night. Players can use this app as a memory game because the game is easier if you memorize the recipes.

The game runs at a fair pace so that it isn’t as stressful as similar games like Overcooked. Since the game runs at a less brisk pace, it doesn’t need the sort of dynamic movement offered by games like Moving Out. If anything, the game character moves like “Link” in the old Gameboy Zelda games.

Give customers what they want

Customers enter, and you see an image of what they want. You then have to make what they want, or find what they want, in order to give it to them. It is a puzzle game because the answer is rarely obvious, and the solution often changes to keep the game addictive.

Take screenshots as a new player

The various drinks you make in this hand-drawn game are written on the menu. It is easier to take photos of the menu, so you have a cheat sheet when people ask for different drinks. Use the sheet until you memorize all the items required.

More depth than it first appears

The game is not strictly a cat game, though cats do play a bigger role later. As you progress and serve oddly different customers, mostly made up of wild animals, the game has far more features and even a creepy or unsettling element.

Needs a tiny bit more testing

This is an exceptional indie puzzle game. Its only flaws are a few game mechanics that are not explained or hinted at. Just a bit more testing with new players may have exposed these minor problems.
