Save your homework from monsters
A Monster Ate My Homework is a game for Macs.
Lovers of Angry Birds, the popular mobile app, will undoubtedly appreciate A Monster Ate My Homework. In the same spirit as that popular game of true aim and problem-solving, this app for Mac owners has you aiming balls at the block monsters that are interspersed on a cardboard box, hiding behind piles of books that are otherwise known as your home. Just aim and knock the monsters off the box and into the pond water below to win each round. Every time you knock a set of books or a bright red apple from the box, you lose a life. You have three lives per level, so it’s not too difficult in the beginning rounds to make a mistake but win anyway.
A Monster Ate My Homework gets increasingly more difficult with every subsequent level. The sound effects are fun, and the graphics are really cute. There’s even a training round that comes with A Monster Ate My Homework so you can get the hang of how to aim before actually setting out and knocking down monsters in the real game.
Unlike Angry Birds, A Monster Ate My Homework unfortunately doesn’t seem to keep a point score, so you can’t really judge your progress in that way. Instead, A Monster Ate My Homework gives you a total to aim for and a number of saved homework blocks required for each grade before you can advance to the next. A Monster Ate My Homework is also a annoying to exit from. You have to continue hitting the back button until you’re returned to the main screen in order to exist, which is a little irritating to say the least.
Overall, A Monster Ate My Homework is a fun game for all ages and will keep people entertained and challenged over and over again.
