Spectrum Audio Analyzer Pro is an application developed by Music Breath, which functions as a sound level meter and harmonics analysis tool. Through the software, users can analyze audio, accurately measure acoustic noise and see the results displayed on their screen in an easy-to-understand visual format.

Measure Distortion

One of the main uses for Spectrum Audio Analyzer Pro is to analyze the harmonics of an audio signal and measure distortion levels. The software helpfully presents this information in a variety of visual representations or diagrams, which can be easily customized, with frequency shown on the horizontal axis and amplitude displayed on the vertical axis. Users are able to zoom in on these graphics, in order to take a closer look at the results of the sound analysis. Support is provided for standard microphone input, as well as virtual audio cables.

Limited Configuration

Unfortunately, aside from its core functions, Spectrum Audio Analyzer Pro is fairly limited in terms of more advanced analysis options. Recording devices cannot be configured in any real way, meaning users must rely on the default configuration, while graphics cannot be easily exported. Nevertheless, the ‘Pro’ version of the software does include graphic control support for the Apple Watch, which is a welcome addition.
