Easy, simple start-up control

Anybody who knows a bit about computers will understand how important it is to make sure your start-up is as smooth and lightweight as it can be.

Some programs have a nasty habit of adding themselves to start-up, launching even when you don’t need them, while others launch from the wrong place, or don’t launch when you want!

There are various ways of taking care of start-up woes, but Startup Control Panel is one handy little applet that will appeal to lots of users.

Once installed, you’ll find it in your control panel. The window is a little old-fashioned, but it still does the job. Startup Control Panel lists all the programs that currently launch on your start-up, dividing them up into small tabbed sections.

Startup Control Panel allows you to view, remove, add or move programs to another start-up area. One of the sections shows you programs you have removed, while another allows you to add a program to run once on the next start-up.

Startup Control Panel is a nice, centralized way of controlling your start-up, but be warned that it has absolutely no other options. If easy, organized start-up control alone is what you are looking for, it will suit just fine, but users looking for a more general control panel maintenance utility might want to look elsewhere.
