奇妙な城と征服のゲーム
Alphabet Tower: Letter Defense is a free, casual game of strategy. The object is to guide your letter character into battle against enemies. Doing so involves paying close attention to comparative points and successfully building your score.
Despite the title, this is not an educational game in the vein of ABC Song Kids Nursery Rhymes or Kids ABC Trains Game. While it is themed around letters, this is just part of its quirky and offbeat sense of humor.
Kill the red letters
Each level in Alphabet Tower: Letter Defense includes a number of buildings, each containing one or more rooms. Every room has at least one character inside (the characters are all letters, but this is just a minor graphical detail). The player controls a blue letter whose job is to kill the red letters by invading their rooms.
Raise your points
At first, the gameplay is extremely simple. Each character has a number above them which represents their value. Drag your character into a room containing an enemy with a lower value, and you will kill them and absorb their points.
This will allow you to move on to enemies with higher values. Some rooms contain points-boosting power-ups or girls to rescue, while others have traps.
Build your castle
Like many mobile games today, Alphabet Tower: Letter Defense includes unlockable perks to keep the player coming back. As you finish levels, a “wheel of fortune” will earn you virtual money, which you can spend on building a castle. Once you have your castle, you can open new rooms and insert rescued characters.
Simple but has its charms
While the alphabet theme may give the impression that the same is an educational title for small children, it is instead aimed at players who want casual fun with a quirky sense of humor. The various oddball touches, such as the letters making appropriate sounds when killed, lend it a definite charm.
