The Holy Quran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Allah). It is the fundamental book of Islam, the second of the two Muslim holy books, and the longest book in the Arabic language.

Islam also teaches that the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by Allah, and that Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah. The Quran is divided into chapters and verses, and its verses are arranged in order of increasing length. Each chapter is composed of verses, and each verse is composed of letters.
