A free Revo Remote viewing program for home surveillance

REVORemote is for people who have a “Revo Remote Home Security Monitoring Surveillance Camera System” installed in their homes. This app was designed to allow people to see live feeds on their phone. The live feeds come from the home camera system that is installed.

Getting it to function it tough

REVORemote is used to check up on your home surveillance system while you are away doing something else. The problem is that it doesn’t work unless you are able to use your own server and/or reroute the app to connect to a different server because the servers that are offered by the company are no longer active. This means you cannot connect to your home security system via the normal programmed way. Despite the fact you can still buy the Revo Remote home security system, the truth is that the company stopped any form of administration or care-taking in 2015, which makes this app mostly useless unless you both have the REVO home security system and can find a way to make it connect.

Some people have got the app to work

The people who are able to make it work are prone to complaining about how the app doesn’t provided full system administration, but that is a little unfair because even banking apps do not allow people to use all the tools that are present on the banking website. Plus, restricted remote access stops hackers from remotely disabling your system. Plus, in 2015, just before the company gave up on the product, they installed a screenshot function so that even if you cannot download videos from the app, you may take screenshots of what you are seeing.
