Simple, automated SFTP client
JaSFtp is designed for those who want to automate their FTP transfer tasks so they do not have to spend time interactively transferring files.
JaSFtp has a simple user interface that helps you transfer files manually. Ultimately though, it’s main aim is to ensure that eventually, your SFTP and FTP tasks can be scheduled automatically. You can automate SFTP transfers to or from an intranet or internet server. Alternatively, you can schedule FTP transfers of files between your Mac and a server and automatically rename the files based on current month, day or time if needed. You can transfer multiple files at once including subdirectory transfers.
The scheduler is very easy to use and I like the fact that you can receive email notification when tasks are completed or failed. What’s also handy is the way you can use wildcards for all manner of tasks enabling you to transfer multiple files at once without specifying exact names. The only downside is that the interface feels a little awkward and could be more logically laid-out.
JaSFtp is an excellent tool for all those that need to automate their FTP tasks.
